Problem

The Philips Azurion is a multi-million-dollar imaging system. Every new field engineer has to be flown to Singapore for one week of hands-on training on the real machine, taught by a single subject matter expert. It's extraordinarily expensive, impossible to scale, and trainees consistently say one week isn't enough. There is no way to add more time without adding more machines, more instructors, and more travel.

Solution

A library of 120+ VR training modules running on a standalone Meta Quest 3, covering everything from basic identification to live troubleshooting. Engineers in any Philips market can now train with remote instructors through multiplayer sessions, repeating procedures on demand without flights, scheduling bottlenecks, or machine availability constraints. The goal was never to build a 3D model of the Azurion. It was to build the experience of working on one.
